Grid Connect | Stand Alone | Products | Gallery | Downloads Energy Produced by Grid Connect Systems How much energy can I expect from my system?
Panels used in most grid connect systems range from 130 Watts to 220 Watts. The system size or sometimes called system capacity is determined by the number of panels times the number of panel wattage. For example: 1 kilowatt system is usually 6 panels, and if the panel wattage is 175Watts System Capacity : 6 x 175 = 1050 Watts = 1.05KW, if the panels are 170 Watts then System Capacity: 6 x 170 = 1020 Watts = 1.02KW To calculate the daily energy produced by your system: multiply the number of peak sun hours for your area by the system capacity. Calculating ROI (The calculator needs updating, please bear with me while I am doing this, if you wish to use the calculator, please email me and I will send you a copy to use.)
I am setting up a series of presentations to help you understand exactly what a Grid Connect Photovoltaic Power Generation System is.
