A Grid Connect System
acts as a
mini power station on your roof,
creates power for your home, and sends the excess power back to the
Grid.
It
is a solar system consisting of an array of solar panels,
This could be 6 panels for a 1 kilowatt system
9 panels for a 1.5 kilowatt system
12 panels for a 2 kilowatt system
and so on
and
a grid connect inverter.
This converts the DC electricity produced by the solar panels
in the array on the roof top from the sunlight
into 240Volt AC electricity at the same frequency 50hz
as the power coming into your house.
Depending
on how you use your electricity,
and the size of the system you choose,
this may reduce your power bill,
or it may give your credits or
it may even give you some money back.
